About Charlemagne: I am a Gen X Navy Veteran. My passion for water started with a realization while watching 'Flash Gordon: A Modern Space Opera' on the Sci-Fi channel in 2007. The disparity between those who had clean water and those who struggled for it was striking. I started to take water much more seriously. This led me to become a Water Sommelier. I'm dedicated to educating people about the importance of water and its impact on wellness. I also try to make water fun and interesting to people who may not have given water a second thought.
Why Water? Why not? It's the most important beverage on the planet. If you don't think water is important, then try going without it. You can't quench your thirst, can't flush a toilet, & can't bathe. I am fascinated by all aspects of water including where it originally came from, how it dissolves everything, how we need it in our bodies, plus I love to swim.
